I'm Limor (pronounced lah-more).
I’m drawn to visual communication because of its ability to transcend language and build emotional connections, getting to the core of human nature and understanding. Design, for me, is always influenced by the culture of the moment, but it’s also rooted in a universal human experience. Finding that balance is at the heart of what visual storytelling is all about.
I like to take the road less traveled when it comes to design, often going back to the roots of visual storytelling to cut through the noise. When solving design challenges, I look for the origins of visuals that truly embody values and perspectives, rather than just following trends or imitating what's popular.
Solving that puzzle, that balance between modern and timeless, is what excites me. The mix of contemporary communication with deeper, ingrained aesthetics and symbolism.
Ultimately, I want to create things that go beyond words, something that has emotional significance and meaning. That’s my goal: getting to the heart of meaning. By design.
For over ten years, I’ve followed this path as a designer and creative lead, working across different industries, disciplines, and in three countries. Right now, I’m based in Amsterdam, where I live with my dog, Kuiper.
